Community Guidelines for Zoom Meetings

Turn on your video. Strongly recommended to help us get to know each other in this virtual space. Plus, visual cues are really helpful to our facilitators.

Type “stack” in the chat when you want to add something to the discussion. This helps ensure that we don’t talk over each other.

Mute your microphone when you’re not speaking. Background noise makes it hard for others to hear and pay attention.

Avoid side conversations in the chat. This is distracting, and we risk losing track of stack. You can private message the facilitator if you need to.

Turn off your video if you need to step away. It’s ok if you need to step away for a moment. Lots of movement in the frame can be distracting, so turn off the video if you need to take care of something at home.
